Every permit of a Greek solar, wind or storage project runs on its own clock. An environmental terms decision (ΑΕΠΟ) issued on 15 March 2022, for example, expires on 15 March 2037, but its renewal counts as timely only if it is filed by 15 January 2037. Enter your own dates below to see each deadline, how many days are left and the provision behind it, and add them to your calendar. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

MitOS, by Ariadne Labs, puts all these deadlines into a 90-day calendar with a live alert feed, and raises the flag while you still have time to act, not after the time has passed. Each clock is kept separately, with the grant date and the regime of each project, because one offer's three years are not another's eighteen months.

Fifteen years from issue, unless the decision sets a shorter term with reasons (Law 4014/2011, art. 2(8)). An environmental management system extends it: four years for ISO 14001 and six for EMAS, by a declaratory act.
At least two months before the ΑΕΠΟ expires. Only a renewal filed in time keeps the existing ΑΕΠΟ in force until the renewal decision is issued (art. 5(4)).
Three years, or four for Special Projects, with one more year where a public procurement tender is needed. It can be extended by up to twelve months for EUR 1,000 per MW per month, and time under a court-ordered suspension does not count (Law 4951/2022, art. 19).
No. It runs in your browser; the calendar file is generated on your device and nothing is sent anywhere.
The calculator is indicative and does not replace legal advice on a specific project. The decision or licence itself, any extension or suspension recorded on it and later amendments to the law prevail over the dates shown.
Permitting energy projects is a labyrinth. MitOS is the thread.
